The American Studies Association invites academic and non-academic employers to post jobs or other opportunities to our website. Whether the position is in a traditional department or program, or a library, museum, non-profit organization, or government agency, your posting will find qualified candidates among our members and graduates of the field.  

To submit a job or fellowship, please first complete the required payment via JHUP. Job and fellowship postings are $250 ($150 for institutional members). Once you have completed your purchase, please send the emailed receipt of purchase and the job listing to asastaff@theasa.net. 

To submit a call for papers or participation, please send an email with the full CFP description to asastaff@theasa.net. The ASA hosts calls for papers or participation to connect members with opportunities ranging from conferences and symposia to edited collections, special issues, or awards.

Job listings and Fellowships are typically posted on Fridays, and usually within 2-5 business days after receipt of payment. Please be patient and plan accordingly. CfP turnaround time is the same. You will receive an email once your listing is posted.
