Advertising Jobs & Fellowships with the ASA

The American Studies Association publishes "Employment Opportunities" as a service of ASA to both employers and job applicants. The ASA recommends that all positions for American Studies practitioners should be advertised in "Employment and Fellowship Opportunities." Association members should notify appropriate officials at their institutions of this service and advise them to take advantage of it.

The ASA invites academic and non-academic employers alike to post jobs or other opportunities to our website. Whether the position is housed in a traditional department or program, or a more public venue such as a library, museum, non-profit, or government organization, your posting will find qualified candidates among our members and graduates of the field.

To submit a job or fellowship, you need to have an account in our system. If you are already a member, or have an ASA Web site account, please log in. If not, please create an account now. You will be asked to use pay for job or fellowship listings once you have completed the submission process. You may join the ASA at the same time you pay for the listing--Institutional Members receive a discount on job and fellowship listings.
