Please Note: Submissions for the 2023 Celebration of Authors are now closed. We hope you'll join us in celebrating them at our opening conference reception on Thursday, November 2nd from 6:00-8:00 PM in Salle de Bal Centre. 

As part of the opening to our Annual Meeting, the American Studies Association conducts a Celebration of Authors to recognize recent book publications from our members. For this year's event on Thursday, November 2nd, we welcome all titles authored or edited by active/current ASA members and published between November 2022 and October 2023, including:

• Monographs

• Anthologies

• Creative writing

• Multiple authored works provided that at least one ASA member is named on the cover as a (co-)author or (co-)editor. For example: 

  • An edited collection in which one of the editors is an ASA member is eligible

  • An anthology which contains one chapter by an ASA member but has no ASA members listed as editors or authors on the cover or primary citation would not be eligible.

To submit your book to the Celebration, complete and submit the following form (you must be logged in to view the form). Please check to make sure your book meets the above criteria before submitting.
