As part of the opening to our Annual Meeting, the American Studies Association conducts a Celebration of Authors to recognize recent book publications from our members. 

For this year's event in Chicago, we welcome all titles authored or edited by current ASA members and published between November 2025 and October 2026, including:

  • Monographs

  • Anthologies

  • Creative writing

  • Multiple authored works provided that at least one ASA member is named on the cover as a (co-)author or (co-)editor. For example: 

    • An edited collection in which one of the editors is an ASA member is eligible

    • An anthology which contains one chapter by an ASA member but has no ASA members listed as editors or authors on the cover or primary citation would not be eligible.
