The Academic and Community Activism Caucus of the American Studies Association invites submissions of sessions for sponsorship at the 2017 meeting. We want to support work that brings the social justice mission of the Caucus to the meeting, and help build connections among scholar activists in the ASA community and beyond.

Caucus sponsorship is a great way to have your panel highlighted in the program and connected to other work that shares a commitment to politically-engaged scholarship.

If you are putting together a panel, roundtable, or workshop that focuses on social justice and activism (in academic or community settings), and you would like it to be sponsored by the Activism Caucus, please send info on the panel (abstract and participants - this can be in draft form) - to Craig Willse. We have a limited number of sessions we can sponsor, but will be in touch with all who submit.

Finally - the Caucus is working on assembling a panel to explore the new Zionism under Trump. If you would be interested in joining that panel, email Craig.

Be in touch with any questions. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago in the fall.
