Updating Header Images

If you’d like to add new header images, you must be a site administrator.  If you are a site administrator, read on.

  1. Collect a few images that you’d like to add.
  2. Create a 181 x 121 smaller version of the image you’d like to feature.
  3. From the Publish Menu, select “Header Images”
  4. Fill in the appropriate fields.  Be sure that the title field and the caption and credit fields are not blank.
  5. Click the “Browse” or “Select” button in the middle of the page for both the smaller image, and the larger image.  (Don’t use the “Upload File” button in the top right—that’s for a different sort of file uploading.
  6. BE SURE to set the category for each picture.  You need to choose at least one position (left, right, middle) and at least one category in order for the images to be displayed.
  7. Click Save.

Your image will show up in random rotation, so you may have to reload many times to see the images you’ve added.
