Final calls for papers and panels

Hello Science and Technology Caucus Members -

This is a reminder that panel proposals are due to the ASA online submission site by 11:59pm on January 26th (just before midnight next Tuesday).

Monique and I would love to receive updates and abstracts for the panels being formed, so please send them to us in addition to submitting them through the ASA online site.  We’d love to know sooner rather than later, as well!  We will upload them to the ST Caucus website.

Also, there is a final call for papers attached for a panel on “Science Fact/Fiction”  (in the form of a previous set of panels that were at the 2009 Science, Literature, and the Arts (SLSA) Conference). John Bruni, who organized those panels, is trying to put together a similar panel for ASA, so if you’re interested, please contact John Bruni directly at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)  and he requests by January 22nd, in order to pull it together by the submission deadline.

The link to the ASA site, to get information about submitting a panel, is below.

Thanks so much! We look forward to hearing from you!

Regards,
Christina Cogdell, Monique Laney
