Texas Chapter

The American Studies Association of Texas is interested in all aspects of American studies. Our journal is Journal of the American Studies Association of Texas (JASAT). The JASAT editor is Douglas Ferdon, Department of Journalism, Baylor University, Waco, TX 76798. Our newsletter appears twice a year. We always have our annual meeting the weekend before Thanksgiving. Individual membership dues in the American Studies Association of Texas are $25.00 per year. Sustaining members pay $50.00 per year. Institutional members pay $50.00 per year. The journal is included with memberships. Subscription to the journal alone costs $25.00 for institutions, $10.00 for secondary school libraries, and $10.00 for individuals.
