New York Metro Chapter

I’m wondering if this group is planning or would like to plan a NYMC conference? The deadline for the funding application is approaching. Maybe someone is planning the conference already. Please advise.

Hello Ellen,
I know this post is a bit dated, but I too have been hoping to see a proposal for this region. Although I study in Hawaii and am also a member of the Hawaii chapter, I joined the NY Metro chapter because of my NY States roots both in terms of family and academics. I visit the city a few times a year and would love to participate in a regional conference that speaks to Urban life, culture and politics particular to this one-of-a-kind locale.
Anyone know of any plans?
